• If your deck has exactly one of each type of card, +60 points
• If you have more than one Aliʻi card, -50 points

Honu - Turtle - 16 points

• If between Nalu and Kai, +30
• If not next to Kai, -10

Hula - Hula Dance - 15 points

• If no Wahine or Kāne, -10
• If Aliʻi in hand, +40

Kai - Water - 15 points

• If between a Manō and a Honu, +30 points
• If no Manō or Honu in hand, -12 points

Kāne - Man - 18 points

• If between a Papa Heʻe Nalu and a Nalu, +20 points
• If next to a Wahine, +10 points
• If no Wahine in hand, -10

Lei - Necklace of flowers, leaves, shells - 12 points

• If next to Wahine, +10
• If between Kāne and Wahine, +20

Mana - Supernatural or divine power, mana, miraculous power - 22 points

• If first and last card are Mana, +40
• If greater than 12 cards in a hand, -40

Manō - Shark - 16 points

• If no Kai in hand, -16
• If next to Kai, +10

Mauna - Mountain - 12 points

• If between two Kai, +20
• If no Kai in hand, -11

Nalu - Nalu - 14 points

• If next to another Nalu, +10
• If no Papa Heʻe Nalu in hand, -10

Papa heʻe nalu - Surfboard - 17 points

• If next to a Manō, -15 points
• If between (Kāne or Wahine) and Nalu, +30 points

Pele - Volcano - 21 points

• If next to Mauna, +40
• If no Kāne or Wahine in hand, -21

Wahine - Woman - 19 points

• If next to a Hula, +20 points
• If between Hula and Lei, +30
• If no Kāne in deck, -10
